The ground
Everything starts with grass. Our animals are moved across open pasture through the year, and they stay out in weather most operations would bring them in from.
Cattle & hogs
Herefords, Angus, and their crosses. Hampshire and Berkshire hogs. Raised slow enough to eat what actually grows here.
Sheep & goats
A small flock kept out on the same pasture as everything else, moved with the cattle.
The laying flock
A mixed flock of layers and heritage breeds. Eggs gathered by hand daily; whatever the girls give us is what we bring to the market.
From the garden
Rotating rows through the growing season. What comes out of the ground is what shows up at the market that Saturday.
Packed under our own label
Every package is labeled by us, cut for our own freezer first. What we would not put on our own plate we do not put on yours.
